TheWorkationers was born on Aruba, where entrepreneurs Anke and Marwin asked themselves one simple question:
“Why is work still tied to one fixed location?”

What started with laptops on our laps and feet in the sand soon led to a clear insight. Existing solutions fell short: anonymous group stays, expensive corporate packages, or accommodations without proper workspaces — let alone an approach that truly considers how you work and unwind.

There had to be a better way.

We believed in Workations that truly work. The right match. With personal attention, ergonomic workspaces, reliable Wi-Fi and inspiring locations. With room for focus and relaxation. From local culture and (network) activities to culinary gems and genuine surprises along the way.

TheWorkationers was developed and tested in destinations such as Valencia, Cologne, Helsinki, Curaçao and Aruba. And yes — it’s a family business. Lieve joined the team as operational manager and travel process specialist.
